Prologue to the Map
Navigating your own interactive experience
One of the benefits of using the ArcGIS platform is the ability for you to create your own interactive experience. To learn more check out the screen shots we have created.

Once you open the map: on the left hand side of the screen just under the ArcGIS label you will see three icons 1) About Map, 2) Show Contents of Map, and 3) Map Legend.

About Map: holds information of last modification, ratings, and comments.

Show Contents of Map: defines the map locator PINS used. Here you can check and uncheck the boxes located to the left of the map locator PIN descriptions. Essentially you can toggle items in the map on and off as you would like to see them.

Map Legend: In the ArcGIS online edition does not function as a traditional legend. For the ArcGIS version of a legend use the "Show Contents of Map" function.
